Eric Hall was born into a musical family. He picked up Flute, Alto Sax and Piano at the early age of 7. A native of Teaneck, New Jersey, he attended New Jersey City University and William Paterson University majoring in Music Performance. When Eric turned 20 he formed a horn section called DEA Horns with his brother Danny Hall on Trombone and long time friend Adam Burton on Trumpet. During his junior year in college he got the opportunity of a lifetime to go on tour with Mary J. Blige which he gladly jumped at.
Since then Eric has worked with artist such as, Beyonce, Madonna, Zendaya, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Jaheim, Ray Chew, Juelz Santana, Method Man, Jeremih, Chrisette Michelle, Shaggy, Sean Kingston, Slim from 112, Chico De Barge, Estelle, Melissa Ford, Fantasia, Regina Belle, Ben E. King, Camron, Jim Jones, Dipset, Joan Jett, Kid Kudi, Kid Kapri, Trey Songz, Ron Isley, The Isely Brothers, Demi Lovato, Rick Ross, New Kids On The Block, Naughty by Nature, Bel Biv Devoe, Blitz the Ambassador, Fetty Wapp, Queen Latifah, Redman, Wyclef Jean, AZ and many more.
Eric has worked on countless Award shows and major productions including the BET Awards, the MTV VMA’s, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and many others.
In 2022 Eric collaborated with Made Music Studios to compose the new theme song for ESPN on NBA. He also wrote the New Theme Song for Burger King and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Aside from touring, writing and producing for other artists, Eric also has his own solo career. He has released singles such as “Disaster”, “Dolla” and most recently “For My Ladies.” Eric plans to release his newest Album entitled “Heard You Were Looking For Me” by Summer ‘24
